During my vacation in Alaska, I had the oppurtunity to fly on (one of two they have) an ERA Classic Airlines DC-3 out of Anchorage and over the Kenai Fjords. ERA are based in Anchorage and I subsequently enjoyed a 2-hour flight. I enjoyed Champagne, 'live' news of the 40's and a hostess whoever would serve bubbly champagne, all the while big-band music was playing softly over the audio system. The view from the windows was spectacular and for the most part, we flew at 1000 feet AGL. You can see from the photo's below how enjoying this flight was, especially when flying over the Glaciers.
