Restoration/Refurbishment of EAA's Air North DC-3 N983DC

Gene Ely from Basler sent in these pics of EAA's DC-3, N983DC hangared at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. These pictures were taken on April 24th 2001, and show some of work that is been done as well as some of work needed to do. As you can see the surfaces have been removed and recovered. The engine cowls have been restored to 'like-new' condition. The interior has been insulated and a new floor installed. Cockpit is still in pieces and Gene still has much work to do in the hydraulics bay.
